Carpet Cleaning Steps
STEP 1
Full inspection.
Checking the depth of soil and signs of permanent staining, along with the backing of the carpet as some are prone to shrinkage. Also a dye test will be carried out to ensure no colours will be removed and ensure the correct use of cleaning solution.

STEP 2
Fibre test.
Identifying the correct fibre will help us determine the correct use of cleaning solution. It will also assist pre-judgement on whether stains are removable.

STEP 3
Power vacuum.
This will extract dust and grit and other dry soil to prevent turning dust into muddy residue.

STEP 4
Pre-spray and agitate.
The use of specially formulated traffic lane cleaner will help to dissolve greasy soils and the agitation process helps the solution reach the depth of that soil.
STEP 5
Rinse and extract.
This will be carried out by our Prochem SX2100 deep cleaning extraction machine. It injects the chemical solution through a 150 psi pump to the root of the pile removing the stubborn soil. This is then followed in the same passing movement by a duel vacuum which removes the excess solution.
STEP 6
Post treatment.
Attend to any stubborn soil marks. Some may need further attention.
STEP 7
Pile realignment.
The pile is set correctly whilst damp. This helps to speed up the drying process.
STEP 8
Industrial air movers.
We can also use industrial air movers that quicken up the drying process along with adequate ventilation (optional extra).
